Water sealing the deck...

SUCKS ASS!!!! I just wanted you all to know that in case you find yourself thinking, "I need to water seal my deck." Well, expect it to suck ass. You've been warned.

I often wonder about wondering...

I have much to do and little time and no motivation. Next week, the kidlets are headed with my parents for a two week vacation. I figure that would be a good time to get the current game room packed up for its big move downstate. On Monday I secured a new spot. It should do nicely. Anyway, I hope things are well with you all and summer has been kind. As I said, my summer was nothing special. I did take the opportunity to try different summer styles of beer, though I remain a fan of my current choices more like dark lagers, stouts, porters, and bocks. It seems some friends have picked up on this and when I visit they have some favorites stocked for my consumption. I have good friends. Anyway, I have been stocking up on computer games to play downstate. I realize that my evenings will be quite lonely as I won't know anybody initially. How else am I to keep occupied in the evenings when I find myself alone with my thoughts? How about blowing things up in cyber world? Nothing like a little stress management. Let's face it, the current condition of the world is causing much stress. I need constructive venting outlets, being that I am really a non-violent person. I also ordered a bunch of books to use for my occupation that will keep me busy. There is so much to know. I was hoping to chill from the learning world for awhile, but that won't be the case. There is always something to know to stay on top of the game. How else am I to be the best that I can be? I decided to drop my summer class, only because I will be moving halfway through it. You can't move many miles and take a class at the same time. And, I think I needed the academic break inorder to buy video games. I also bought some barstools for my new breakfast bar. Breakfast bars need barstools. They are University of Illinois barstools... very nice and very wooden. And, I also bought a nice shower curtain. I have more to buy for my apartment, like a TV. My old one was done in by a little baby girl. I also need a lounge chair (a LA-Z-Boy Recliner). A single male cannot function without a lounge chair. That's... That's against the laws of a nature. Anyway, I have to run and get my nephew from summer band camp. He's a jazz trumpeter. His concert is tomorrow. I also have to water seal a deck. Yee ha...

Beer Gives Bad Grammer...

I had bad grammer and spelling in my last entry. I blame beer. I really should not drink beer and then come here and write. And, I went to get more beer. I did. From a local brew pub. It was good. I enjoyed it. It was a Dark Lager. Very nice. As you can see, I am currently struggling for information to place here. I look around the current game room and keep thinking, "Shit, Joe, you still have so much to pack... LIKE ALL OF IT!" I plan on moving in waves. Anyway, I just wanted to say that from now on I shall avoid beer and blog entries. To further catch you up in my happenings... I have been reading. I have been driving around. I've been sitting on my ass. Also, I am making a movie. Not what you think. I have a computer program where I can make movies. I have started to learn basic programing to do things, design things, and editing things. At the moment I have 4 minutes of edited footage... And, well, I think I need to do some reshoots. I can't believe how hard this has been! Will you ever see such film? FUCK NO!!! Maybe my third effort. The first effort is my learning experience. So far I have learned that I have much to learn!

Off to get some beer!!!

Yes, my friends! It's been awhile since I've stopped by my own game room. The reason is simple...I haven't wanted to.. Not because I don't like it, but because I am LAZY!!! Anyway, I am here right now drinking a beer. I decided that it would be a good idea to run and get more. But, before I get new beer, I thought I would say hi to everybody and catch you up to speed. The game room is offically moving locations around the second week of August to start my new job. So, I've had several trips up and down the "beautiful" state of Illinois taking care of business. I have also been up North dealing with the evils of porcupines. Those little bastards have been eating my new pump house. After several times repainting and fortifying the structure with chicken fencing, I think I have beaten the little bastards for now... without evening shooting one. So, I feel good about that! My pocket book doesn't. Ummm... I've been to several beer events with a big one coming in August... Ummm... Yeah! So, that's it. Anyway, I am going to run. I will check back later maybe with a funny thing or two to say. At the moment, the only funny thing that comes to mind is... BOO!!! And, that is just not that funny.
