I have found a few minutes to write my post from my new location. That's right, Joe's Game Room is now in its new location somewhere not where it used to be. It's hot in here, but bigger. Yup, I now have a place for my stuff. The Game room is much bigger then it used to be, so I was able to bring my former life out of storage....and the time it was there had been unkind. I spent this evening reparing two pieces of furniture that cracked upon being moved several times. And, let's not forget to mention the mold. I had two days before I started my job to kill, kill, kill that mold to find the glorious belongings underneath. Now, the gameroom smells like furniture polish. That's not bad. It once smelled like sweaty socks! But, it's been like Christmas really, not to mention a trip down memory lane. I forgot about some of the things I own. Some of it was good, some of it was bad, some if it made me scratch my head and ask, "What the fuck was I thinking keeping this!" Oh, the fridge was on too high. I froze my jug of water. Ooops. Anyway, the last couple of days have been spent remembering. It's hard to believe I had a life prior to my derailment years ago due to a horrible relationship and economic catasphre resulting from 9/11. I kinda forget about that "Joe." My how he has changed. I can't determine for the better or for the worse. I guess I am older now and wiser. This change has resulted in 12 (and not done yet) garbage bags currently in the dumpster. "Hmmm, this piece of paper was funny once... Now, I don't find it so funny. GARBAGE!!! Oh, "she" gave me this! BYE-BYE!" I found pictures. I found knick-knacks. I think the coolest thing was my high school yearbooks. I can gleam from those, my humor hasn't really changed much. Well, it has, but I mean I haven't ever stopped being humourous. Even in high school messages were written to the affect of "Joe, will never forget the laughs!" I think my personal favorite is the word "BASTARD" written accross my picture. Good times! Good times! But, it's weird, you know... sitting among this stuff... a shadow of my former life... I can't help, but be subdued. It's been so long!!! Oh, I found my Paddington Bear. Paddington was big when I was kid. This one was a super Paddington, and not the American version. My Aunt brought it for me from England. He's got a nice blue hat, navy coat, and red boots. I've since lost the note: "Please take care of this bear" ... AND, I found "WEE." Wee was my favorite stuffed animal. He was a clown made from socks. I never went anywhere without Wee. Now, he's in a box with all the trinkets from my childhhood, like the four game balls I received for excellence in the outfield and my trophys. I guess once, I was a ballplayer. Good old Wee the clown. As you can tell by his name, I was still rather odd as a tot. But, yeah, it's been surreal. It's been a trip. I still can't believe it. My, what a strange, long trip it's been. I can only pray now that things get better and better. I've been out of the world for so long now, it's hard to believe I have come back. Anyway, I am going to head to bed. I have work in the morning... I actually have work in the morning. Fucking wow!
